Finance Controller (DJA/7655)

Description

Our client, a highly successful Engineering and Manufacturing business required a competent Finance Controller to look after both arms of the business.  The business has won some significant contracts with their key customers, and to this effect the group are looking to have a dedicated Controller at senior management level to provide operational and financial control and take this business forward.   As a key player you will be involved from the outset in all aspects of financial management, provide financial support, aid the decision making process and ensure procedures are implemented and maintained. You will advise, ensure the delivery of financial targets at key milestones as well as challenge the figures, minimise the risks and recommend solutions.   Successful applicants will be technically and analytically strong, able to appraise complex financial information and lead a team. Experience of long term contract reviews, revenue/cost recognition would be an advantage. You will also need to demonstrate some commercial awareness, an ability to understand the numbers and will be able to communicate at all levels as well as be a leader and active team player.
